We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
Record daily income, expenses, payments, and receipts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor hospital revenue and expenditure.
Reconcile bank accounts, POS transactions, cash collections, and other payment channels.
Monitor accounts receivable and payable.
Prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding payments, including HMO claims where applicable.
Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
Assist with payroll preparation and statutory payments.
Monitor budgets and identify financial variances.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and hospital financial policies.
Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations.
Support internal and external audits.
Safeguard the hospital’s financial assets and confidential financial information.
Perform other accounting duties assigned by management.
QualificationsInterested candidates should possess a Degree with 2 years experience.
