Job Summary
1159 Realty is seeking a competent, detail-oriented, and highly accountable Accounting Associate to join our team.
The ideal candidate must have strong financial management skills, a good understanding of accounting processes, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced real estate environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesConfirm client payments and process invoices promptly.
Maintain accurate payment records on the company’s WebApp.
Compute, reconcile, and track sales commissions.
Monitor defaulting clients and update applicable charges.
Maintain accurate property inventory records, including sold, reserved, revoked, and cancelled units.
Manage daily financial transactions, imprest, and expense records on QuickBooks.
Reconcile bank statements, QuickBooks, WebApp transactions, and internal records.
Process approved refunds, revocations, and account adjustments.
Prepare accurate financial and management reports.
Support payroll processing and other financial requests from HR, Customer Service, and Management.
RequirementsA degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Must be a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.
Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate financial records.
