The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor and retail relationships, and expanding market penetration for Integrated Dairies’ products within assigned territories. Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing regional sales plans, monitoring sales performance, supervising and mentoring field sales representatives, and conducting regular market visits to gather insights on competitors and customer preferences. The Area Sales Manager will coordinate promotional activities, ensure proper product visibility and availability, and provide sales reports and forecasts to leadership. The role also involves collaborating with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to optimize pricing, inventory, and customer service.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or professional certification is an advantage. Strong sales management and business development skills, including territory planning, target setting, and performance tracking. Experience in channel management, distributor/retailer relationship management, and field sales supervision. Competence in market analysis, forecasting, and reporting using basic analytical tools and sales data. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for engaging customers, partners, and internal teams. Proven ability to lead and motivate sales teams, with sound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Familiarity with FMCG or dairy/food and beverage sector sales operations is highly beneficial. Comfort working in the field with regular travel within Lagos State and nearby regions, and willingness to work to meet commercial targets.
