Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our technology team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the server-side applications, APIs, databases, and systems that power our digital products.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain reliable backend applications and APIs.
Design, manage, and optimize databases.
Build secure and scalable server-side systems.
Integrate third-party services and APIs where required.
Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues and system errors.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other technical teams.
Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
Monitor application performance and implement improvements.
Ensure proper data security, system reliability, and access control.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and software development processes.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of at least one backend programming language such as Python, JavaScript/Node.js, PHP, Java, or C#.
Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server.
Good understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Knowledge of Git/version control systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good understanding of software development and security best practices.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD.
Experience with authentication and authorization systems.
Knowledge of microservices and scalable application architecture is an advantage.
