Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM daily
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and creative Baker/Cake Decorator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of cakes and pastries while ensuring consistent quality, presentation, taste, and adherence to production standards.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cake production and decoration, particularly with buttercream and fondant, and should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesBake and decorate different flavours and varieties of cakes according to recipes and required specifications.
Prepare and produce a range of pastries while maintaining consistent quality and taste.
Execute cake designs based on customer requirements, reference images, or provided specifications.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout the baking process.
Work collaboratively with other bakery team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Support with additional bakery tasks or extended working hours when required.
RequirementsOND / HND in a relevant field is an added advantage but practical baking experience and demonstrated skill are most important.
Proven hands-on experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef.
Good attention to detail and strong sense of presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and meet customer deadlines.
Good knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety practices.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Must reside within approximately 30 minutes to the workplace.
Compensation & BenefitsN100,000 monthly net salary
Additional stipends for extra work hours
One free cake on the employee's birthday.
