Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary

The Business Coordinator will drive revenue growth while ensuring that the company’s three business lines—Cleaning Services, Pest Control and Consumables—operate as one coordinated business. The role will serve as a key link between sales, clients, field operations and management, ensuring that opportunities are converted into contracts, contracts are translated into scheduled services, completed jobs are properly documented and invoiced, and clients are retained for repeat business. The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially minded and comfortable coordinating both office-based activities and field operations.

Key Responsibilities

 Business Development & Sales:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for cleaning, pest control and consumables across corporate offices, hospitals, schools, estates, hotels, factories and retail outlets. Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in line with company pricing and requirements. Conduct client site visits and needs assessments in collaboration with operations teams before pricing jobs. Follow up on leads, maintain the sales pipeline and convert enquiries into signed contracts. Represent the company at client meetings, trade events and networking opportunities. Support online and offline marketing initiatives. Monitor market trends and gather relevant competitor and industry intelligence.

Consumables Sales & Inventory Management:

Sell cleaning chemicals, detergents, sanitisers, tissue products, waste bags, equipment and other consumables to existing and prospective clients. Develop recurring supply arrangements with service clients and standalone buyers. Monitor stock levels and initiate timely reorders. Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, quality, availability and delivery timelines. Coordinate deliveries and confirm receipt with clients. Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, deliveries and returns.

Operations Coordination – Cleaning & Pest Control:

Translate signed contracts into work schedules, staff deployment plans and material requirements. Coordinate routine cleaning, deep cleaning, fumigation, rodent control and other pest control services with field supervisors. Ensure all jobs are delivered in accordance with the agreed scope, quality standards, timelines and SLAs. Ensure compliance with required safety, PPE and chemical-handling procedures at client locations. Ensure pest control treatments are carried out using approved products and that service reports and certificates are issued as required. Track job completion and conduct or coordinate quality checks. Ensure client sign-offs are obtained and jobs are properly closed out.

Client Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for client enquiries, service requests and complaints. Resolve service issues promptly and escalate complex matters where necessary. Conduct regular service reviews with key accounts and obtain client feedback. Drive contract renewals, upselling and cross-selling across the company’s three business lines. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date client database.

Administration & Finance Support:

Raise invoices promptly upon completion of jobs or delivery of products. Follow up on outstanding receivables and support debt collection activities. Maintain contract files, job cards, service reports, quotations and sales records. Support procurement activities, petty cash control and job-level cost tracking. Ensure relevant company documentation and statutory registrations remain current where assigned.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring:

Submit weekly reports covering sales, sales pipeline, completed jobs, consumables sold, collections and client issues. Prepare monthly business performance summaries and provide actionable recommendations to management. Identify and escalate operational risks, staffing gaps, stock shortages and other potential business challenges.

Other Duties:

Perform other reasonable duties as may be assigned by management in support of the company’s business objectives.

Requirements
