About the Role
We are looking for a confident, organised, and customer-focused Client Service Officer to join our team.
The successful candidate will serve as a key link between the radio station and its clients, ensuring excellent service delivery, effective communication, timely execution of client requests, and strong client relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day communication and relationships with clients.
Receive and coordinate client requests, advertising briefs, campaigns, and promotional activities.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Programming, Production, and Finance teams to ensure client deliverables are executed accurately and on time.
Follow up on advertising schedules, campaign materials, approvals, and other client requirements.
Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries, concerns, and complaints.
Monitor ongoing campaigns and provide clients with relevant updates.
Maintain accurate records of client correspondence, agreements, schedules, and deliverables.
Support client retention by ensuring a positive and professional customer experience.
Prepare periodic client service reports and provide feedback on client needs and expectations.
Assist with client meetings, presentations, activations, and station events where required.
RequirementsHND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in Client Service, Customer Service, Account Management, Media, Advertising, Marketing, or a related role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-management skills.
Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple client requests and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced media environment.
Previous experience in a radio station, media organisation, advertising agency, or related industry will be an added advantage.
