Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking Cook to prepare high-quality meals while maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, food safety and kitchen organisation.
The ideal candidate must be smart, swift, organised, cooperative and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook meals according to established recipes, standards and guest requirements.
Ensure food is properly prepared, cooked, presented and served on time.
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
Ensure proper storage, handling and preservation of food items.
Assist with menu preparation, ingredient selection and kitchen planning when required.
Monitor kitchen supplies and report low-stock or damaged items to the appropriate supervisor.
Keep kitchen equipment, work surfaces and cooking areas clean and properly organised.
Minimise food waste and use ingredients responsibly.
Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Coordinate and cooperate effectively with other kitchen and hospitality staff.
Multitask and prioritise responsibilities according to operational needs.
Follow all company policies, food safety procedures and health and safety standards.
Demonstrate punctuality, professionalism and a positive attitude at work.
Be willing to learn, adapt and take instructions from supervisors and management.
Carry out any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role.
Must be able to work effectively in a team.
Must be smart, swift and efficient in carrying out tasks.
Must be able to multitask and work under pressure.
Must be cooperative, respectful and willing to take instructions.
Basic computer literacy is required.
SalaryN150,000 - N180,000 per month.
