Ensure Data Availability and Data Security
Duties & Responsibilities
Design stable, reliable and effective database using Oracle, PostgreSQL, MYSQL DB and MSSQL.
Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices.
Gather user requirements and identify new features
Database Query review, implement proper indexing
Prepare ETL Scripts and migrate data from one database to another database
Provide data management support to users
Contribute to design & overall product architecture
Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
Carry out daily database backup, data recovery and restore as well as data replication.
Modify databases according to requests and perform tests
Job Requirements BrowseCareers
Education: BSc /HND Graduate with an Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, Information Technology degree
Others: A Professional Certification in ORACLE, POSTGRESQL, MSSQL, MYSQL is an added advantage
Experience: 4 - 6 years’ work experience as a DBA
