Description
A Direct Sales Agent is responsible for proactively reaching out to potential customers, demonstrating products or services, and driving sales outside of a fixed retail environment.
They work directly with consumers or business prospects through door to door sales, events, field visits, or targeted outbound contact.
Key ResponsibilitiesProspecting & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales leads through door to door outreach, community events, cold calling, and field networking.
Product Demonstrations: Present, promote, and explain products or services directly to potential customers using tailored pitches and live demos.
Closing Sales: Negotiate pricing, overcome customer objections, and finalize sales contracts or subscriptions on the spot.
Relationship Management: Build rapport with clients, provide post-sale support, and encourage referrals or repeat business.
Target Achievement: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotas and activity targets.
Market Feedback: Gather customer feedback, track market trends, and report competitor activity to management.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of sales calls, visits, customer details, and pipeline status in the company CRM.
