Hexagon Engineering Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Lead to oversee and lead electrical panel design and assembly projects.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise in electrical engineering, panel layout, wiring, and assembly processes, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and optimization of electrical panels and control systems.
Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics, and wire diagrams.
Supervise and coordinate the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical panels.
Ensure that all electrical work complies with health, safety, and industry standards.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to meet project timelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during design, assembly, and commissioning.
Maintain documentation, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and quality control records.
Mentor and support junior electrical staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in electrical panel design and assembly.
Strong knowledge of electrical standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE) and safety regulations.
Hands-on experience with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar).
Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and automation is a plus.
