Entry Level Collection Officers - Ikeja

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Entry-Level Collection Officers to join our team. The role involves contacting customers with outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans, and maintaining accurate records, all while delivering excellent customer service. This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, resilience, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:


Contact customers via phone, email, and other channels to remind them of outstanding payments.
Negotiate and set up repayment plans that are manageable for customers and beneficial for the company.
Maintain up-to-date records of customer accounts, payment agreements, and interactions.
Monitor overdue accounts and follow up promptly to reduce delinquency rates.
Escalate unresolved or complex cases to the senior collections team as needed.
Provide customers with information regarding their accounts and respond to inquiries professionally.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting of collections activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical collection practices.


Requirements:


OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields (preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry systems.
Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
