Job Description
Our client is seeking an Experienced, Competent and Detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist to support its laboratory and diagnostic operations.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, receive, process and analyse clinical specimens.
Perform laboratory investigations and interpret results within professional scope of practice.
Validate and document laboratory results accurately.
Ensure quality control and compliance with established laboratory standards.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper handling of reagents and consumables.
Develop SOPs and supervise Laboratory Technicians.
Maintain accurate laboratory records and observe infection prevention and safety protocols.
RequirementsBMLS / BSc in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognised institution.
Must be duly registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
Must possess a valid practising licence.
Relevant work experience in a reputable clinical or diagnostic laboratory.
Sound knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality assurance and biosafety standards.
