About the Role
We are seeking a numerate, systems-driven and experienced Factory Operations Manager to lead end-to-end operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a small food/spice processing facility, production planning, raw material and finished goods control, procurement planning, stock reconciliation, basic costing, equipment coordination, staff supervision, food safety/GMP compliance, and weekly management reporting.
The candidate must possess strong sales, relationship management, and proposal-writing skills, with a passion for corporate training, consulting, and professional development.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise factory staff and submit weekly operational report.
Lead and oversee all factory operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and operational objectives
Ensure full compliance with NAFDAC and GMP standards across all plant operations
Coordinate production schedules, plan procurement, and manage machine upkeep.
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Qualifications and Requirements
HND / BSc Degree in Food Science/Technology, Agricultural Processing, Industrial Chemistry, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field
Comfortable with Excel/basic computer systems, understand NAFDAC/GMP requirements, and be able to work with production and inventory records properly
3-5 years of relevant experience in food, spice, beverage, agro processing or FMCG operations
Experience in supervisory responsibility, training, education, consulting, or professional services industry is an added advantage.
SalaryN250,000 - N300,000 monthly depending on experience.
