Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer to handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of ISP network infrastructure and customer connectivity.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain ISP network equipment and customer premises equipment (CPE).
Carry out fiber optic, wireless, and network installations at customer locations.
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, network, and equipment faults.
Perform site surveys, equipment testing, and preventive maintenance.
Monitor network performance and escalate major faults when required.
Configure routers, switches, access points, and other network devices.
Ensure installations meet required technical and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of field activities, installations, faults, and repairs.
Provide technical support to customers and coordinate with the Network Operations team.
Respond promptly to service outages and field-related technical issues.
RequirementsHND/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in ISP, telecommunications, networking, or a related technical environment.
Knowledge of fiber optics, wireless networks, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and CPE.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in the field and travel to different locations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
SalaryN200,000 - N250,000 per month.
