The thought of creating TERAWORK came to our founder in 2015 after an unpleasant experience where he engaged and worked remotely with an unknown person he met online to help complete a tech project. While it is clear he needed help from an expert for a few days, he didn’t get one. What contributed to the bad experience include lack of online platforms within the region with an end-to-end process for employing remote manpower in a flexible and safe manner.
In response, he created a process he uses repeatedly to find and engage, on on-demand basis, independent workers for his tasks. Unlike before, the process enables both himself and his independent worker trust working remotely with each other. He decided to build the process into a technology for a lot of people to benefit from.
Two years down the line, that technology becomes the foundation of our online freelance marketplace where businesses can conveniently engage, on ‘pay-as-you-go’ basis, freelance professionals across various services including software, mobile apps development, contents writing, creative designs, web design, SEO, digital marketing, animation production, audio/video services, photography, events planning, virtual assistance etc. to work on their projects. TERAWORK is pioneering new ways to inject efficiency and higher productivity into getting workforce.

Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will leverage financial data and insights to support strategic decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Analyse retail performance, including sales trends, profitability, inventory turnover, and store performance.
Support monthly management and board reporting with detailed financial analysis and insights.
Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budget/forecast, providing actionable recommendations.
Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
Monitor and report on key business and retail performance indicators.
Partner with Retail Operations, Merchandising, Marketing, and other business units to support data-driven decision-making.
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses to support strategic initiatives and management requests.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, or Financial Analysis.
Prior experience within FMCG, Retail, Consumer Goods, or a related industry is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modelling.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
SalaryN300,000 – N400,000 Gross Monthly.
