Job Title: Finance and Commercial Officer Freejob posting

Key Responsibilities
Process all purchase orders and subcontractor payment certificates; maintain the payment schedule
Manage the project petty cash and site small-purchases fund; maintain accurate records and reconcile monthly
Track subcontractor retention balances and payment status
Prepare and submit monthly cost reports to ourhead office finance function
Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor with compilation of interim payment applications
Maintain supplier invoice records; match invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation
Support the Commercial Manager with contract and commercial documentation filing
Liaise with ourhead office finance on project banking and cash flow requirements
Required Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Minimum 4 years of finance or commercial administration experience; construction industry experience is preferred
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Key Competencies and Personal Attributes:Accurate and diligent in financial record-keeping
Organised and reliable in meeting monthly financial reporting deadlines
Discreet with confidential commercial and financial information
