Job Title: Finance Officer

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Officer to support the Finance Manager in the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
The successful candidate will assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, expense monitoring, and internal controls to ensure accurate financial records and effective financial management.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial reports, reconciliations, and management accounts.
Monitor cash flow, revenue, expenses, and supplier payments.
Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and expenditure control.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
Monitor financial transactions across company outlets and the online store.
Support the Finance Manager in tracking procurement costs and inventory-related expenses.
Assist with tax compliance, audits, and statutory reporting.
Identify financial discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
RequirementsFirst Class degree in Accounting or Engineering from a recognized university.
ICAN certification or ACA qualification
1–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis.
Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and organizational abilities.
Experience in retail, pharmacy, FMCG, or a multi-outlet business is an advantage.
Remuneration
N250,000 per month.
