Job Title: Finance Reporting Associate

We are looking for a Finance Reporting Associate to support financial reporting, compliance, reconciliations, and day-to-day finance operations at 10Alytics. A key focus of this role is tax compliance and implementation. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the Nigerian tax system and be able to translate tax requirements into practical processes within the organisation, ensuring timely filings, payments, accurate records, and ongoing compliance.
Manage and implement the organisation's tax compliance processes. Stay updated on applicable Nigerian tax laws, requirements, and regulatory changes. Prepare and/or coordinate tax calculations, filings, payments, and supporting documentation. Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely compliance. Review transactions for appropriate tax treatment and identify potential tax risks. Prepare regular financial reports covering revenue, expenses, cash flow, and other key metrics. Reconcile bank accounts, payment platforms, and internal financial records. Track revenue, payments, outstanding balances, refunds, and installment plans. Support budgeting, forecasting, and budget vs. actual analysis. Maintain accurate and organised financial and tax records. Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decisions. Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and reporting.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. 2–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, tax, or financial reporting. Strong practical knowledge of the Nigerian tax system is essential. Experience implementing or managing tax compliance processes is highly preferred. ICAN, ACCA, CITN, or relevant professional qualification is an advantage. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and reporting. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books is an advantage. Strong analytical, numerical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and ability to work with confidential financial information. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
