Kiajer Youth Empowerment Initiative was birthed from a simple but painful reality: millions of children and young people in Africa are full of potential but locked out of opportunities. Our Founder saw children hawking on the streets instead of being in school and felt compelled to respond with more than one‑off charity. From that burden, Kiajer was created as a structured platform to support vulnerable children, youth, and families through long‑term, empowerment‑focused programmes. Today, we continue to design initiatives that keep children in school, equip young people with relevant skills, and help families break cycles of poverty. We are  recruiting to fill the position below:

 Job Title: Full-Time Driver

Location: Abuja

Job type: Full-time About the Role

Provide safe, reliable transportation for KYEI staff and authorized personnel, while keeping the assigned vehicle clean, roadworthy and ready for official duties.

Transport staff to meetings, field visits and programme activities; plan routes and arrive on time. Follow traffic laws and KYEI safety procedures; drive carefully and report incidents promptly. Keep the assigned vehicle clean and roadworthy, check its condition and documents. Record trips, mileage and fuel use when required; transport official documents and supplies. Maintain confidentiality and act professionally with staff, partners and beneficiaries.

SSCE/WAEC or an equivalent qualification. Valid Nigerian Driver's Licence. At least two years of professional driving experience. Good knowledge of Abuja routes and basic vehicle inspection and maintenance. Reliable, punctual and trustworthy, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
