We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations across our manufacturing facilities and administrative offices.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in industrial relations, factory workforce management, recruitment, performance management, HR compliance, and employee development.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage employee and industrial relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary matters, union relations, and workforce welfare.
Oversee factory workforce management, including attendance, shifts, overtime, casual workers, and employee welfare.
Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning for factory, technical, sales, R&D, and administrative roles.
Develop and manage KPIs, performance appraisals, employee engagement, and talent development programs.
Maintain employee records, HR policies, employee handbook, leave and attendance systems, and HR documentation.
Work with Finance/Payroll to ensure accurate salary processing and statutory deductions including PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, and ITF.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Laws, Factory/HSE regulations, and company policies.
Advise management on workforce planning, compensation, organizational structure, employee retention, and HR strategy.
Support change management, organizational development, and workforce requirements during business/plant expansion.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in HR, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
CIPM certification is required.
6–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial/senior HR role.
Strong experience in FMCG, Cosmetics, Plastics, Manufacturing, or a similar factory environment.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and statutory compliance.
Experience managing factory/blue-collar workforce and industrial relations.
Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
