Summary
We are looking for a hands-on and dependable IT Support & Systems Officer to manage our day-to-day technology needs and provide technical support to employees across the business.
Key Responsibilties
Provide technical support for laptop, internet, printer, email and software issues.
Set up and maintain laptops, routers, printers and other office technology.
Troubleshoot network and internet issues and liaise with service providers when necessary.
Install approved software, perform system updates and ensure devices are properly configured.
Maintain antivirus protection and conduct routine checks to reduce security and data-loss risks.
Manage employee accounts, email access, passwords and user permissions.
Provide internal support for Zoho and other business applications.
Learn new applications quickly and train employees on how to use them correctly.
Work with our external website and technology team on technical issues, integrations and digital projects.
Properly document and escalate technical issues that require external support.
•est completed updates and provide clear feedback to the relevant teams.
Maintain records of company laptops, devices, software licences and other IT assets.
Create simple user guides and document recurring IT processes.
Recommend suitable technology that can improve internal efficiency and security.
RequirementsDegree, Diploma or relevant training in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
Previous experience in IT support, help desk, systems administration or a similar role.
Practical understanding of computers, internet networks, routers, printers, operating systems and business software.
Experience using or administering Zoho applications is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, antivirus protection, software updates, data backup and access management.
Ability to learn new software quickly and explain technical processes to non-technical employees.
Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
Responsible, organised and able to follow up on issues until they are resolved.
Must live within reasonable commuting distance of Ikota/VGC, Lagos.
Important:The successful candidate will manage internal IT support, coordinate technical requests, assist with testing and implementation, and serve as the link between employees and external technical teams.
