Job Title: Internal Audit Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Audit Officer to support the organization in strengthening financial controls, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, identifying operational risks, and improving overall business efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular internal audits of financial and operational activities.
Review transactions, records, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
Identify control weaknesses, irregularities, errors, and potential risks.
Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls.
Reconcile financial records and investigate discrepancies.
Review cash handling, expenses, procurement, and payment processes.
Prepare clear and accurate audit reports with findings and recommendations.
Follow up on implementation of corrective actions.
Support fraud prevention and risk management activities.
Maintain proper documentation of audit activities and findings.
Work closely with the Finance, Operations, and Management teams to improve internal processes.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in internal audit, accounting, finance, or compliance.
Experience in the freight forwarding, clearing & logistics, shipping, or related industry is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and audit procedures.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate financial/operational irregularities.
Strong communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
SalaryN200,000 Monthly.
