Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits across hotel departments and operations.
Review the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Audit hotel revenue, cash collections, expenditure, procurement, inventory, payroll, and other key financial and operational activities.
Identify control weaknesses, operational risks, irregularities, and areas for improvement.
Prepare clear and comprehensive audit reports, including practical recommendations.
Monitor compliance with approved policies, procedures, budgets, and applicable regulations.
Follow up on audit findings and recommendations to ensure timely implementation of agreed corrective actions.
Support management in strengthening risk management, governance, and internal control processes.
Maintain appropriate audit documentation and working papers.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in internal audit, financial control, risk management, or a related field.
Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Previous internal audit experience in the hotel/hospitality industry is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit procedures, risk management, and financial processes.
Excellent analytical, investigative, report-writing, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting/audit software.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, independence, and attention to detail.
