Job Title: Internal Control Team Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead, Internal Control to oversee internal control activities across stores, warehouses, and support functions, ensuring compliance, loss prevention, effective controls, and operational efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise Internal Control Officers across multiple locations.
Develop, implement, and monitor internal control policies, SOPs, and procedures.
Conduct control reviews, spot checks, investigations, and risk assessments.
Oversee cash handling, inventory, refunds, discounts, stock movements, and loss prevention activities.
Identify control weaknesses, revenue leakages, stock variances, fraud risks, and operational losses.
Use data analytics to identify exceptions and support continuous improvement.
Prepare and review internal control reports and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with Audit, Finance, Warehouse, Store Operations, and other business functions.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
7–8 years’ relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
Experience in Internal Control, Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance.
Experience in Retail, FMCG, Hospitality, or Banking is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of inventory, warehouse, and retail operations.
Proficiency in MS Excel, with ERP/POS experience preferred.
Knowledge of COSO, ISO 31000, risk management, and fraud detection.
CIA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CISA, CFE, CRMA or related certification is an advantage.
SalaryN400,000 Gross Monthly.
