Job Title: IT Officer (NYSC)
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Role Overview
The successful candidate will provide first-line IT support and assist with the maintenance, monitoring, and efficient operation of the company's IT systems, computer hardware, software, IT and Digital infrastructures.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide basic technical support to employees on computer hardware, software, printers, and other IT equipment.
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and approved software.
Support the monitoring and troubleshooting of network connectivity and internet access.
Assist with user account administration, access permissions, and routine IT system maintenance.
Support data backup procedures and compliance with the company's IT security policies.
Maintain an inventory of IT equipment, software, and related assets.
Document reported IT issues, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions.
Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT personnel.
Educational Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
Must be a serving NYSC Corps Member eligible for primary assignment.
Required Skills:Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
