Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Junior Software Developer to join our technology team.
The ideal candidate will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications while working closely with senior developers and cross functional teams.
This role is ideal for someone eager to build technical expertise and contribute to innovative software solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing, testing, and maintaining web, mobile, or desktop applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior developers.
Participate in software design, code reviews, and debugging activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Integrate APIs and third-party services into applications.
Maintain and update existing software systems to improve functionality and performance.
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Prepare technical documentation and user guides where required.
Stay updated with emerging software development technologies, tools, and best practices.
RequirementsOND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in software development (internship experience is an added advantage).
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, PHP, or similar.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks is an advantage.
Basic understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Knowledge of Agile development methodology is an added advantage.

Willingness to learn new technologies quickly.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

SalaryN150,000 - N200,000 / month.
