Job Title: Mechanical Technician II

Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Technician II to support the execution of mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved work plans and site requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
Assist with the preparation of proposals and cost estimates.
Actively participate in applicable on-the-job safety tools and processes.
Review job packs and identify safety concerns before commencing work.
Ensure identified safety issues are appropriately removed or mitigated prior to execution.
Execute mechanical maintenance activities in accordance with approved work plans.
Record technical history and maintenance information using relevant systems, such as the Global Reliability Tool (GRT) and applicable data sheets.
Provide feedback to the Execution FLS on opportunities to improve job packs.
RequirementsRelevant mechanical/technical certification(s), where applicable, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly describe field conditions and recommend appropriate remediation steps.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with individuals across teams.
Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
