Kiajer Youth Empowerment Initiative was birthed from a simple but painful reality: millions of children and young people in Africa are full of potential but locked out of opportunities.
Our Founder saw children hawking on the streets instead of being in school and felt compelled to respond with more than one‑off charity. From that burden, Kiajer was created as a structured platform to support vulnerable children, youth, and families through long‑term, empowerment‑focused programmes. Today, we continue to design initiatives that keep children in school, equip young people with relevant skills, and help families break cycles of poverty.

About the role
Lead KYEI's communications and digital visibility, turning programme activity and impact into clear, engaging stories.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver communications strategies aligned with KYEI's programmes and advocacy.
Manage social media; create, schedule and publish engaging content and promotional materials.
Document programmes and events with photography, video and written stories.
Track audience and content performance; report insights and maintain brand consistency and media files.
RequirementsHND or Bachelor's in Mass Communication, Journalism, PR, Media, Communications, Marketing or related field.
At least 2 years in media, communications, digital marketing, social media or a related role.
Strong writing and storytelling, social media, design, photography and basic video-editing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; organized, creative and able to meet deadlines. NGO/development experience or a relevant portfolio is an advantage.
SalaryN105,000 / Month.
