Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operational Accountant with a strong background in a recycling company or related FMCG industry to manage daily accounting operations, financial reporting, cost control, inventory reconciliation, and financial analysis.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting transactions, general ledger, and financial records.
Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts.
Monitor production costs, operating expenses, budgets, and profitability.
Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger accounts.
Track inventory, raw materials, finished goods, and stock movements.
Monitor purchases, revenue, operational expenses, and cost variances.
Ensure accurate documentation, internal controls, and compliance with applicable tax and accounting regulations.
Support budgeting, financial analysis, audits, and management decision-making.
RequirementsB.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant accounting experience.
Mandatory: Previous experience in a recycling company or related FMCG industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage 50, Sage 300, QuickBooks, TallyPrime
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management modules is an advantage.
High attention to detail, integrity, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
SalaryN350,000 - N400,000 monthly.
