Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose visual conditions, prescribe corrective lenses and support quality eye-care services.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
Diagnose and manage common visual and ocular conditions.
Prescribe and recommend appropriate corrective lenses.
Educate patients on eye health and preventive care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Refer complex cases to ophthalmologists or other specialists when necessary.
Ensure compliance with professional and clinical standards.
RequirementsDoctor of Optometry (OD) degree from a recognised institution.
Valid registration/licence with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN).
2–3 years' relevant clinical experience, Post Nysc.
Good knowledge of eye examination and diagnostic procedures.
Strong patient-care, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
