We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Process Engineer II
Location: Akwa Ibom
Key Responsibilities
Lead process engineering design activities, including the development of process design specifications, heat and material balances, and process flow diagrams.
Supervise junior engineers and provide technical oversight of engineering contractor deliverables during FEED and detailed engineering phases.
Conduct process optimization studies to identify cost-saving opportunities and evaluate alternative process configurations.
Participate in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) reviews for new, modified, and existing facilities.
Provide commissioning and start-up support for new or modified facilities as required.
Support process engineering team organization and staffing requirements.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in petroleum refining, the chemical process industry, or with an engineering contractor serving these industries.
Experience in capital project development.
Strong technical knowledge of process design, engineering specifications, and process optimization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to manage tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.
