We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Procurement Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and maintain supplier relationships.
Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
Ensure timely procurement of materials and services for projects and operations.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier pertormance.
Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and company standards.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement within the procurement function.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years' proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Good knowledge of procurement processes and contract management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/procurement software.
Membership in relevant professional body (CIPS, CIPSMN, etc.) is an added advantage.
Strong negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
