We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong accounting experience within a manufacturing or logistics company, with proven exposure to project accounting, operational finance, cost management, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, monitoring project and operational costs, preparing financial reports, and providing accurate financial insights to support business decisions.

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and financial statements for project and operational activities. Manage project accounting activities, including budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis. Monitor project and operational financial performance and provide recommendations to improve cost control and profitability. Work closely with operations, logistics, fleet, production, and project teams to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial activities. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts. Monitor revenue, expenses, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support management decision-making. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies. Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial documentation and resolving audit queries promptly. Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and other financial records and investigate discrepancies. Utilize ERP/accounting systems, particularly SAP, for transaction processing, financial reporting, and analysis. Assist in cash-flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Identify opportunities for improved financial controls, cost efficiency, and process optimization.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ICAN qualified or at an advanced stage of the ICAN qualification is mandatory. 7–10 years of relevant accounting experience. Mandatory experience working in a manufacturing or logistics company. Proven experience in project accounting, operational finance, cost accounting, or management accounting. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis. Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP/accounting systems is mandatory. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis, reporting, and modelling. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and statutory compliance. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
