 Job Title: Senior Accountant (Hospitality)

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos About This Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to oversee our daily financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our corporate accounting records. In this role, you will manage complex reconciliations, lead month-end closing processes, and provide critical financial insights to support our business growth.

Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statement. Perform complex bank, inventory, and intercompany reconciliations. Analyze financial data to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for cost reduction. Manage tax compliance, including sales tax filings and coordination with external auditors for annual reviews. Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and monthly forecasts. Streamline accounting workflows and implement internal controls to improve data integrity. Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior-level capacity. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros). Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proven ability to handle high-volume transactions with extreme accuracy. Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders.

Previous experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry. CPA or CMA certification. Experience with inventory management and COGS analysis.
