Job Description
We are seeking experienced Solar PV Technical Officers with strong, proven, hands-on experience in the installation, integration and commissioning of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar systems and mini-grids.
The ideal candidate must have practical experience executing solar installation projects from setup to commissioning, with the ability to independently handle installations, troubleshoot system faults and deliver projects with minimal supervision.
Key Requirements
OND/HND/BSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field
COREN certification is an added advantage
Proven hands-on experience installing commercial and industrial solar PV systems and mini-grids.
Practical knowledge of solar system components, including PV modules, inverters, battery storage, charge controllers and protection devices.
Ability to execute solar installations, including panel mounting, DC/AC wiring, cable termination, inverter integration and system configuration.
Experience with system testing, commissioning, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and installation layouts.
Strong understanding of solar installation safety standards and best practices.
Ability to lead or independently execute assigned installation tasks with minimal supervision.
Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.
SalaryN165,000 - N250,000 monthly.
