About the Role
We are seeking a courteous, professional, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our fine-dining restaurant team.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a polished appearance, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for providing exceptional dining experiences.
Candidates must reside in or close to Chevron, Lekki, Lagos, and be able to commute conveniently to the restaurant.
Proximity to the location is essential.
Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
Present menus, explain menu items, and provide recommendations on food and beverages.
Take customer orders accurately and communicate them promptly to the kitchen and bar teams.
Serve food and beverages professionally, following fine-dining service standards.
Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and presentable before, during, and after service.
Monitor guests' needs throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
Handle customer enquiries and complaints politely, escalating issues when necessary.
Ensure orders are served accurately and in a timely manner.
Process bills and payments accurately where required.
Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, cleanliness, and professional conduct.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, supervisors, and other service team members.
Follow restaurant procedures, food safety guidelines, and service protocols.
RequirementsPrevious experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality establishment is preferred.
Experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality will be an added advantage.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service skills and a pleasant, professional attitude.
Good grooming, personal hygiene, and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm, courteous, and efficient in a busy environment.
Strong teamwork, time-management, and organisational skills.
Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Must live close to Chevron, Lekki, Lagos, or within a reasonable commuting distance.
SalaryN130,000 - N150,000 monthly.
