Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
The Accounting officer will be assigned the following primary responsibilities, among others:
Daily Entries: Process and post daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and journal entries.
Accounting Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and analysis.
Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting systems accurately and efficiently.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
RequirementsNational Diploma in Accounting or Accounting Technician qualification (e.g., ICAN, AAT).
1-2 years of experience in accounting or related fields.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics).Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Skills:Attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial principles.
Good communication and organizational skills.
