Job Title: Agribusiness Field Operations Officer
Location: Jos, Plateau
Description
A proactive individual who can build trust with farmers, maintain accurate field records, identify business opportunities, and effectively coordinate field operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate milk collection and field-level agribusiness operations.
Engage and maintain strong relationships with smallholder farmers and cooperatives.
Ensure proper measurement, documentation, and record keeping of milk collection and field activities.
Support quality and operational standards across milk collection activities.
Identify and support sales opportunities for agribusiness products and services.
Negotiate and build mutually beneficial relationships with farmers, cooperatives, and customers.
Support the achievement of divisional operational and revenue targets.
RequirementsMinimum of OND in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience working with farmers, cooperatives, or in a field-based agribusiness role is an advantage.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Good persuasion and negotiation abilities.
Strong documentation, measurement, and record-keeping skills.
Willingness to work extensively in the field and engage with smallholder farmers.
