Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Security Manager – Systems & Technology to support the management, optimization, and continuous improvement of security technology across our operations.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership for electronic security systems, ensuring they remain reliable, secure, compliant, and aligned with operational requirements.
You will work closely with Security, IT, vendors, and operational stakeholders to support CCTV platforms, access management systems, network infrastructure, cybersecurity controls, and technology improvement projects.
This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, project coordination capability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for CCTV, video management, access control, alarm systems, and associated security infrastructure.
Administer and optimize Milestone video management platforms to support operational and investigative needs.
Manage Gallagher access control systems, including access provisioning, permissions management, reporting, and audits.
Coordinate preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, system testing, and fault resolution activities.
Collaborate with IT teams to maintain network connectivity, cybersecurity controls, system resilience, and infrastructure performance.
Support security technology projects, including installations, upgrades, system integrations, and improvement initiatives.
Develop technical documentation, procedures, reports, and user guidance while providing support to security personnel and end users.
What We Are Looking For
Recognized qualification in electronic security, information technology, networking, engineering, or a related discipline.
Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a thoughtful improvement mindset—curious about how work gets done and motivated to make meaningful, sustainable improvements over time.
Strong understanding of network engineering, IT infrastructure, and enterprise technology environments.
Demonstrated experience supporting integrated electronic security systems, including CCTV, alarms, intercoms, and access control solutions.
Strong working knowledge of Milestone video management systems and Gallagher access management platforms.
Sound understanding of cybersecurity risks, secure system configurations, and security technology governance.
Good understanding of ISO 27001 principles and their application within operational and technical security environments.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
