Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with proficiency in PHP Laravel, with some experience in DevOps, to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our backend services, ensuring robust and scalable solutions that align with our project goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development:Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Laravel
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Implement and maintain APIs for seamless integration with various identity management systems.
System Integration:Work closely with other technology providers to integrate biometric and identity verification technologies into our platform.
Ensure seamless integration and upscaling of the existing NIMC identity system.
Data Security & Efficiency:Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent data leaks.
Optimize backend systems for maximum efficiency and reliability.
DevOps:Assist in managing CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the infrastructure to maintain system health and performance.
Documentation & Best Practices:Maintain comprehensive documentation of the backend codebase, APIs, and system architecture.
Adhere to industry best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in PHP and Laravel
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
Experience:6 years of proven experience as a backend developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Experience in identity management systems and biometric technologies is a plus.
Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is desirable.
Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
