 Job Title: Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Support

Location: Lagos

We are seeking a highly organized, security-conscious, and dependable professional to join our Internal Audit and Compliance team as a CISO Support. This role is designed to provide operational, technical, and continuity support to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), ensuring the seamless execution of information security activities and uninterrupted security operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily cybersecurity operations, maintaining security controls, and serving as the designated backup to the CISO during periods of absence. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to strategic information security initiatives while contributing to the organization's security posture and operational efficiency.

Support the CISO in the day-to-day management of information security operations. Serve as the designated backup to the CISO during leave, travel, or other periods of absence. Provide backup support for Control Room operations, including CCTV monitoring and access control activities. Assist with security incident response, escalation, and coordination when required. Participate in structured knowledge transfer activities and maintain accurate security documentation. Support the implementation and monitoring of logical security controls and access management processes. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline security-related processes. Ensure continuity of security operations and adherence to established security procedures. Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information and security matters.

Required Skills & Competencies

Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 2 years experience. Good knowledge of cybersecurity principles, controls, and best practices. Understanding of logical security, identity management, and access control processes. Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills. High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion. Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and work effectively under supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to remain calm and responsive during security incidents and operational challenges. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and security-related documentation tools is an advantage.
