Job Objectives
Effectively and efficiently manage the operations and of Clearing and settlement operations as well as clearing and settlement support for internal and external customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
Clearing and back-office operations management for all supported payment systems such as Visa, MasterCard, Union Pay, Amex etc.
Support internal and external customers within agreed SLA terms.
Processing and Clearing of transactions.
End-of-day Transaction-processing and clearing operations management.
Service level management with internal and external customers.
Reconciliation of all cleared transactions.
Key Performance IndicatorsEdit Package monitoring.
Delivery of Base II related report.
Unified settler monitoring.
Daily processing of POS acquired transactions on TWCMS.
Daily processing of POS acquired transactions on TWI.
Daily processing of POS acquired transactions on Unified settler.
Daily clearing of all Payattitude acquired transactions
Daily clearing of POS acquired transactions to VISA.
Daily clearing of POS acquired transactions to MC.
Daily clearing of POS acquired transactions to AMEX.
Daily clearing of POS acquired transactions to CUP.
Conversion of MasterCard single message transactions to user friendly report for banks and settlement teams.
Conversion of VISA transactions to base11 and VSS portal.
VISA ATM super-settler transaction processing.
Providing second level support to settlement related issues
Hosting of daily settlement report.
Call over of transactions across different touch points ( TWCMS, Unified settler, TWI)
Daily clearing of POS acquired transactions to VISA.
Hosting of daily chargeback reports to banks.
Uploading of Base11 and VSS files.
Processing of MIGSS files to the schemes.
Hosting of MIGSS files for the banks.
RequirementsEducation:B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Statistics, Economics, and Mathematics.
Professional membership of ICAN/CIMA/ACCA or similar recognized professional accounting bodies is an added advantage.
Experience:Experience: Minimum of 1 year of post NYSC.
Skill / Competencies:High degree of accuracy.
Deductive reasoning abilities and eye for details.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A good influencer and astute leader.
Advanced Excel user.
Knowledge:
Excellent knowledge of cost and financial accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Knowledge of the card payment industry.
Reporting Relationships:Functionally reports to: Head, Clearing and Settlement Operations.
