Job Summary
The CNG Logistics Manager will oversee end-to-end CNG transportation and logistics operations supporting the Lagos and Kano IPP sites.
The role requires strong hands-on experience in CNG logistics management, CNG skids, gas transfer operations, truck scheduling, and supply coordination to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage CNG transportation, dispatch, delivery, and truck turnaround across Lagos and Kano.
Plan and monitor CNG delivery schedules to maintain continuous gas supply.
Coordinate CNG trucks, logistics vendors, drivers, and supervisors.
Monitor CNG inventory, consumption, and replenishment requirements.
Oversee CNG skid loading, unloading, storage, and gas transfer operations.
Monitor the condition and safe operation of CNG skids, trailers, hoses, valves, and related equipment.
Coordinate the Obajana–Kano logistics corridor and resolve transportation challenges.
Track logistics KPIs, delivery performance, downtime, truck utilization, and turnaround time.
Ensure compliance with applicable CNG, HSE, operational, and transportation requirements.
Liaise with gas suppliers, plant teams, transporters, and other stakeholders to ensure supply continuity.
Respond promptly to logistics and CNG operational issues affecting plant availability.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
3–5 years’ hands-on experience specifically in CNG logistics operations, preferably in the gas, power, oil & gas, or energy sector.
Practical knowledge of CNG skids, CNG trailers, gas loading/unloading and transfer systems.
Experience managing CNG trucks, logistics vendors, drivers, and multi-location operations.
Good knowledge of the Obajana–Kano route and Northern logistics corridor.
Strong mechanical / electrical understanding of CNG logistics equipment.
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure operational environment.
SalaryN350,000 - N400,000 / month, based on experience.
