Job Summary
The Distribution Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient movement and distribution of inventory to designated locations.
The role requires strict adherence to delivery schedules, inventory handling procedures, and road safety regulations while supporting overall logistics and operations efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafely transport and distribute inventory to assigned locations.
Load and unload inventory while ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
Verify inventory quantities against delivery notes/waybills documents.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle at all times.
Navigate delivery routes and follow schedules efficiently, adjusting as required by operations.
Comply with traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Assist warehouse teams during loading, offloading, and inventory handover when required.
RequirementsInterested applicants should have the following:Valid driver's license,
Minimum of 3 years driving experience
Able to drive a manual/automatic car,
Be familiar with Abeokuta/Ogunroads
Understand traffic signs and road usage,
Good customer relations
Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and time management.
Good communication skills.
Candidate must reside around Kuto, Abeokuta.
