Job Summary
We are hiring a responsible and experienced Driver to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and familiar with the road network within and around the city.
This role involves transporting company staff and products safely and efficiently, while maintaining a professional demeanor and a well-kept vehicle.
ResponsibilitiesSafely transport company personnel and goods to designated locations.
Plan travel routes to avoid traffic delays and road construction.
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform basic preventive maintenance.
Ensure the company vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained at all times.
Accurately log daily trips, fuel consumption, kilometers driven, and work/rest periods.
Keep records of toll payments and fuel receipts.
Follow all traffic regulations and company driving policies.
Collect, verify, and follow through on delivery or travel instructions.
Report any accidents, damages, or vehicle-related issues promptly to management.
Other Duties as assigned.
Requirements and Experience
Minimum of First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).
At least 3 years of driving experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations.
Familiarity with Abuja road networks and major routes is a must.
Valid Nigerian driving license.
Must be currently residing in Abuja.
Ability to drive long hours and occasionally travel outside the city when needed.
Sound judgment and ability to handle unexpected situations, such as traffic congestion or adverse weather.
Must be willing to undergo background and drug checks.
Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.
Ability to provide reliable references or employment recommendations.
SalaryN70,000 - N80,000 / month.
