Job Summary
We are seeking to hire a reliable and responsible Driver to provide safe and timely transportation services as required by the school.
The ideal candidate must be punctual, safety-conscious, and familiar with Lagos routes.
The successful candidate should also demonstrate good character, professionalism, and the ability to properly maintain the assigned vehicle.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide safe, reliable, and timely transportation as assigned by the school.
Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times.
Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle.
Conduct routine checks on the vehicle, including fuel, tyres, oil, brakes, lights, and other essential components.
Ensure the vehicle is properly fueled and ready for daily operations.
Adhere strictly to traffic laws, road safety regulations, and school transportation policies.
Plan routes efficiently and use alternative routes where necessary to avoid traffic delays.
Report any mechanical issues, accidents, traffic violations, or other vehicle-related concerns promptly.
Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle maintenance where required.
Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, patience, and good conduct when interacting with students, staff, parents, and other stakeholders.
Ensure the vehicle is securely parked and properly maintained when not in use.
Perform other driving-related duties as may be assigned by the school management.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of an SSCE or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 2 years’ professional driving experience.
Must possess a valid Driver’s Licence.
Must be able to read and write effectively.
Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic conditions.
Must demonstrate responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious behaviour.
Ability to drive and maintain a vehicle responsibly.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be punctual, neat, courteous, and professional.
Previous experience working in a school or similar organization is an added advantage.
Candidates residing within or around Orchid, Lekki, and surrounding areas are preferred.
BenefitsSalary: N110,000 monthly
