 Job Title: Feedmill Supervisor

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary

The Feedmill Supervisor / Manager is responsible for overseeing daily feed production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards. This role involves managing staff, coordinating raw material intake, supervising milling processes, and maintaining inventory to support poultry and livestock production.


Key Responsibilities
Feed Production Management:

Supervise intake, formulation, grinding, mixing, and packaging. Implement production schedules to meet livestock feed requirements. Monitor and control milling equipment performance.


Quality Assurance:

Ensure feed meets nutritional specifications and hygiene standards. Conduct routine checks on moisture, temperature, and microbial control. Enforce biosecurity protocols to prevent contamination.


Equipment Maintenance:

Operate and calibrate feed mill machinery. Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with technical teams. Ensure minimal downtime and optimal machine efficiency.


Inventory & Materials Management:

Maintain accurate records of raw materials and finished products. Collaborate with procurement for timely reorders. Ensure secure storage to prevent spoilage or pest infestation.


Team Supervision:

Lead and train feed mill staff across shifts. Enforce safety protocols and good housekeeping practices. Evaluate staff performance and promote continuous development.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or Engineering (preferred). 3–5 years of experience in feed mill operations or agribusiness. Strong knowledge of poultry nutrition and feed formulation. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and optimize production efficiency. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards.
