Job Title: Finance Operations Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
The Finance Operations role supports accurate transaction processing, working-capital control, reporting, and audit readiness across sales, inventory, and departmental finance activities.
The role focuses on financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cost control, regulatory compliance, cash flow management, and financial risk oversight.
The Finance Manager plays a critical role in supporting executive decision-making, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving profitability across fleet and corporate operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the timely invoicing of vehicle sales and perform monthly reconciliation of receivables.
Maintain the General Ledger and prepare monthly reports covering inventory, receivables, and departmental budgets.
Support robust working-capital management and review balance-sheet reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.
Supervise monthly inventory counts across all centers.
Participate in annual statutory and tax audits and provide the required supporting documentation.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Professional certification (ICAN, CFA, ACCA, or equivalent) is required.
3–7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
3 to 7 years of experience in finance operations or a related field. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning is essential.
Strong understanding of financial processes and operations management, with proficiency in data analysis and financial modelling.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and financial reporting tools.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
