About the role
We are seeking physically fit, reliable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our Production/Logistics team as Furniture Handlers.
This role is central to ensuring our furniture pieces are properly protected, moved, and installed with care, from the factory floor to the client's doorstep.
This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility for company property and materials.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarefully wrap and pack finished furniture pieces to ensure they are protected and delivery-ready.
Load and offload furniture products between the factory and delivery destinations, handling items with care to avoid damage.
Assist with the installation and assembly of furniture pieces at client locations when required.
Offload raw materials delivered to the factory, ensuring proper handling and placement in designated storage areas.
Work closely with the Production, Logistics, and Inventory teams to ensure smooth coordination of deliveries and installations.
Report any damage, shortage, or handling issue immediately to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized loading/unloading area at all times.
Follow all safety procedures when lifting, moving, or installing furniture and materials.
RequirementsPrior experience in furniture handling, logistics, warehouse work, or installation is an advantage but not compulsory.
Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items safely.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Basic understanding of careful handling techniques for fragile or finished furniture pieces.
Willingness to travel to delivery/installation sites when required.
Good communication skills and a respectful, professional attitude toward clients and colleagues.
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision once trained.
Must reside within close proximity to Abijo, Ibeju-Lekki, or environs.
Availability:The role is primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Due to the nature of deliveries and installations, successful candidates may occasionally be required to work outside regular hours or travel to client locations as business needs require.
